When purchasing any item, think past the impulse and look “long term”
Is this a classic piece?
Is it parable with other pieces you currently own?
Is it a statement piece, or is it simply an accent to an outfit?
Wealth is not the goal, however, one thing that money conveys is a very polished appearance. Keep yourself neat (manicures, haircuts, face clean. NEAT) No rips and scratches on your clothing either. Once something is noticeably damaged, it must go.
Invest in your dream items. The Hermés and Vuitton bags are brilliant and high grade quality that will last for decades if properly cared for. Invest in your future style whenever you can.
Allow your clothing to express your mood… dress true to you…. Let it reflect who you are TODAY!
If our clothing reflects “who we are," mentally we can link how we dress with how we feel about ourselves. Faux leather and knock off brands show how little we think of ourselves!
Too many logos are a huge no-no! Don't get covered in logos! Dressing loud and gaudy by wearing as many recognizable high-end logos as possible will not call over the best attention!
Quality over quantity: IN ALL ASPECTS! Buy one Ralph Lauren shirt for the price of three H&M’s and I guarantee the RL will hold a better condition than all of the cheap material shirts combined
Rule #1: Dress for you! Fashion is personal. Accept your style, but understand that dirt covered new balance sneakers paired with baggy, tattered jeans doesn't qualify for style; ITS NEGLECT!
Black! Nobody ever hated anyone for having an all black outfit day. Just be sure that your shades of black aren't drastically different.
Wear fitted… not skintight… but fitted…
Be known for something. Something I am known for is my left wrist always wearing my Rolex and Tiffany rope combination. It's a piece of me that I feel naked without.
