I have had a love affair with jewelry ever since I was a young gay chap. I went to private school all my life wearing a dreadful uniform that made me feel bored with my appearance. I wasn’t able to express myself with my clothing and still needed to find a way to feel less drab and a bit more stylish. This is where my bracelets and watch collection enters the picture.
I had a mini obsession with watches during my teenage years; I would save up my money and always splurge on a new big-faced timepiece. (Fun fact: I even still have a KJP bracelet that I bought back in 2011 when I was a junior in high school)
For me, when I stack on my bracelets and snap on my watch I feel like my outfit is tied together, and I am complete.
I also am a firm believer that your jewelry doesn't have to cost a lot to look good or make you feel good. I own a Rolex watch and Cartier love bracelets but I rarely wear them anymore because my style has evolved into a more casual look and the novelty of the name brand wore off quick. My favorite watch is $120. and my favorite bracelet is under $100. Check out my favorite bracelets and watches below that I couldn't live without! (All the jewelry is under $200. and unisex!)
I would say my favorite bracelet brands are Hampton Ivy and. KJP. They both make the most unique accessories out there. Plus they are both pretty affordable!
The greatest watch for it's price is made by Michael Kors. They are so sleek, really durable, and last forever. I still wear the MK watch I bought in high school.
